Top 6 Restaurants Near Biltmore

For those new to the area or considering purchasing or renting a place nearby, I’ve put together a list of the top 6 highest-rated restaurants near Biltmore. These are the 6 rated highly on Google, between 20th St and 32nd St, and north of Indian School Road. From fine dining to super casual and fun, there’s something for just about everyone on this list. And guess what? The restaurants are fairly affordable as well!

The Biltmore area features by and large classic American or “New American” fare with familiars like filet mignon, pizza, and interestingly, avocado toast. You can find great breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and takeout, because Biltmore is a sun up to sun up place.

To be fair to the establishments and also to do you a favor, I’ve selected these five based on what other people think about them. So this is not an endorsement; rather, it’s useful information especially if you’d like to plan a nice night out.

Also, what started as a Top 5 quickly became a Top 6, because there are some I just could not leave out.

I should note, some of these restaurants are located very near (as in, walking distance) to all three Biltmore condos featured on this website.

Restaurants Near Biltmore

Here are the five. Read below for locations, pictures, ratings, and contact information.

  1. The Capital Grille
  2. The Parlor Pizzeria
  3. LON’s at Hermosa Inn
  4. The Gladly
  5. Season’s 52
  6. Hillstone

The Capital Grille (Google Rating 4.8)

Let’s just say this. It’s really hard to get a 4.8 rating on Google especially once you get over 1,000 reviews. But The Capital Grille has earned it, and having been there myself to testify I can say it’s well worth the visit. I almost did not want to add it here because it’s a prolific chain and well known across the United States (with one of my favorite locations being Washington, D.C.). However, I couldn’t ignore its high rating. There are no other restaurants near Biltmore rated at 4.8.

Beyond great food, this location has excellent service and that’s probably why it’s rated so highly, honestly. The hosts and service staff are professionals and very good at what they do. You’ll feel comfortable, well taken care of, and then on top of that, well-fed.

The Parlor Pizzeria (Google Rating: 4.7)

With a strong 4.7 rating and 1,467 reviews at the time of this post, The Parlor is a clear winner in terms of both popularity and praise when it comes to restaurants near Biltmore. You can try an appetizer of roasted olives, an entree of pappardelle bolognese, along with a bianchi cocktail that the menu describes as “juicy and easy drinking.”

What I like most about the fact that The Parlor is #1? The pizza. And before you start to think you’re limited to diavola and margherita, think again. Spicy barbecue chicken, a vegan option and even an autumn-inspired, sweet potato pizza are options for you.

You can’t beat the prices, either.

LON’s at Hermosa Inn (Google Rating: 4.7)

LON’s is a bit east of Biltmore, in Paradise Valley, but it’s close enough to be included here. Because it’s so highly rated, it deserves to be mentioned. LON’s features a slightly  finer dining experience than the others on this list, so call for reservations if you’re looking for a fancy night out or a swanky brunch. Situated at a gorgeous inn, you can extend your date night to a staycation if you’re looking for a little bit of luxury.

Enjoy brunch? So do I. Check out LON’s brunch menu, which includes starters of monkey bread (seriously?), bacon (need anything else?) and avocado toast, among other things. They’ve also got a lunch, dinner and dessert menus. What I like about LON’s is that the menus are seasonal and do change.

The Gladly (Google Rating: 4.6)

Like a little whiskey before or after your meal? Try The Gladly. This is clearly a crowd favorite because it has a 4.6 rating with 1,148 Google reviews as of the time of this writing. In other words, a lot of people like this place.

It’s a “New American” bistro which means that you’ll find your favorite foods, albeit a little classier, in a swanky establishment with plenty of alcoholic options if that is important to you. Perhaps you’d like the Sausage & Pretzel starter that comes with spicy mustard and White Cheddar cheese, which is probably what I would start with. Coffee Rubbed Short Ribs sounds like a great next choice, followed by Snickers Ice Cream Cake, because why not.

Season’s 52 (Google Rating 4.6)

Two words: Great takeout.

No, but really it is always interesting when a fine dining establishment also happens to nail takeout. It seems to be one or the other, usually. But in today’s ever-changing world and ever-changing situations, it is always great to know that you can get fine food to go.

Not that Season’s 52 is only good at takeout. Their menu of classics like flatbreads, crab cakes, butternut squash soup, and filet mignon will satisfy just about everyone at the table, including the kids. It’s comfort food elevated way above what your sister-in-law can do, but not so far-fetched that you can’t even begin to imagine what it would taste like. Good familiar food done well is the name of the game.

Season’s 52 is within walking distance of both the Optima Biltmore and Esplanade Place.

Hillstone (Google Rating 4.6)

And last on the list but certainly not least by any stretch of the imagination is Hillstone. Even though it had a similar rating to the others, it has more reviews (1,709 at the time of this writing). This gives its rating a bit more clout. I could not keep it off the list.

Another classic American menu, but refined, which is just the Biltmore way. Located at 26th and Camelback, it’s just east of the Biltmore Fashion Square and in a prime location. Hillstone Restaurants owns Houston’s, if you’re familiar with it.

If you’re in the mood for a $19 cheeseburger (in other words, a burger done right), you’ve come to the right place. It’s also within walking distance of Esplanade Place.
